This was a fun watch but lacked a bit of depth. Loved the far right Trump inspired escapist leader. Also the guy behind me that almost DIED from choking on his popcorn (his friend had to give him the heimlich) transitioned perfectly into the somber conversation about what it feels like to die. This is why we go to the movies people

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2004
The first time I saw this I don’t think it really stuck with me because I’d never truly loved someone - that real love isn’t loving someone at their best but at their worst. This time around the tears were flowing. Also this soundtrack absolutely slaps.
When you first meet someone you give them this version of your best self, and then it’s this endless journey where you both continue to discover who the other person truly is. You either decide to call it quits based on new discoveries or you keep loving.
Even tho heartbreak is inevitable, love is so worth it
