Every scene lingers for just a little bit longer than normal, allowing you to take it all in and appreciate the insane atmosphere that this movie is full of. It's the closest I've come to what feels like watching a novel, and this slow burn is exactly the kind of movie that eventually becomes a comfort film for me. I can see people being disappointed if they expect something else but I personally loved it.
