Senseless visual violence whose ultimate aim/purpose seem to feed the audience craving for the same. If this film could get through the CBFC literally anything else could. Marco will serve as a quintessential example that testifies that film censorship in India is all but a joke. The censor board recently denying the television run of this film is the best among the jokes.

It's alarming to label this filth as 'a film with style'. Butchering is just Butchering. Never call it a style.

Slow-burn and Artistic. Immaculately sculptured shots. Black and White never felt this much breathtaking and refreshing recently. 'Every frame a painting' would be cliched term to put, but I've got none to replace it now.

A far right take on Maoism. Cunningly built to make believe the viewer that Maoism/Naxalism is no different from terrorism, plain ans straight. The film carefully steps away from talking about the background history about the Naxalbari movement and presents an anti-maoist flick for the elite upper middle class, who new nothing about the organized oppression of the tribals and the hardships.

I would call this film a must see, after all one needs to see how the 'right camp' twists stuff.

Nothing means more than being together.

    I Love You
    Nawal .

The entire film turns into a love letter for peace and harmony with this last statement.

One of the best films I've experienced in years. Thanks Villeneuve for this gem.
