Finally got around to watching this, really emotional and it succeeds as a massive blockbuster.
The movie has a nice pacing, it doesnt stall around but it also knows when to slow down to have a nice emotional moment.
Great usage of silence which has became a Nolan staple at this point, i believe this picture utilized it better than Oppenheimer.

First movie of the year, i really appreciate the direction and the cinematography of this film but the script is really lacking.
The script fails to personalize the characters in any meaningful way so it just feels like you are an outsider who just stumbled upon a disconnected set of footage.

Finally saw this after a long delay. The movie is great for the most part but the editing is really bad, there is literally a moment in the film where 3 different events, detailing 3 different things, featuring 3 different people and taking place at 3 different times and 3 different places are shown at once. It still amazes me how this won best editing over Killers of The Flower Moon
The cinematography is also limited but thats a plus because what we have (which mostly consists of portrait shots) is absolutely great.
