Primal Fear 1996
90’s lawyer films, you just can’t beat them! Gere oozes class as he always does, and portrays the big time hotshot lawyer who wants to go back and do something good in his career impeccably. Edward Norton’s big screen debut was just a sign of things to come in a remarkable career, and his supporting role here earned him a deserved Oscar nomination. Full of twists and turns, if you’re looking for some edge of the seat entertainment, you could do a lot worse than Primal Fear.

Despite some questionable Scottish accents and every 80’s film cliche under the sun this was a thoroughly enjoyable watch. Fast-paced and taking no time at all in getting started into the action that doesn’t cease until the end credits roll, one thing you couldn’t criticise Highlander for is how entertaining it is. The shining light of the movie in my eyes, was Clancy Brown, portraying the villain brilliantly as he so often has in his career, but the original soundtrack…
