My favorite part was them all competing for who has the most sultry, British spy voice.
Although speaking of speaking, Soderbergh still knows how to make lots of talking engaging and stylish, even if a lot of it is espionage jargon. That’s how I feel about Black Bag. It doesn’t do anything new or even unique really within the spy thriller genre, but what it does do it does very competently while looking great. The music is reminiscent of umpteen…

Gotta love a cult movie that doesn’t explain shit about its cult lol. It felt like it was just an easy vessel for Gareth Evans to shoot some gnarly death scenes, which he does, but most of the other stuff just had me like, “okay and?”. What Nosferatu has cemented for me is that despite Eggers only doing period pieces thus far, all of his characters and world still feel accessible and approachable. And this is because of the attention to detail and pure craftsmanship put into every frame of his movies.

I don't care how much this movie makes at the box office, give George Miller a blank check to make as many movies set in this universe as he wants to. Yes it doesn't quite reach the heights of Fury Road but it is a worth successor (and predecessor) that may feel a little bloated but its for the purpose of building out the wasteland. Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth are both great and seeing it in XD made all the engine and explosion noise that much more visceral.
