What Nosferatu has cemented for me is that despite Eggers only doing period pieces thus far, all of his characters and world still feel accessible and approachable. And this is because of the attention to detail and pure craftsmanship put into every frame of his movies.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga 2024
I don't care how much this movie makes at the box office, give George Miller a blank check to make as many movies set in this universe as he wants to. Yes it doesn't quite reach the heights of Fury Road but it is a worth successor (and predecessor) that may feel a little bloated but its for the purpose of building out the wasteland. Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth are both great and seeing it in XD made all the engine and explosion noise that much more visceral.
