Like a day at the ballpark, slow and meandering but interesting. More about the characters and the vibe than the plot, slow cinema for sure.
I was excited to see this because my good friend Jeff plays Preston Red and this is the first time he’s been in a big screen feature film, so I was excited to see it playing at my AMC.
If you’re a fan of baseball or played it growing up this will probably resonate. If you’re not it may not be your cup of tea, but I enjoyed it a lot.
This was fun. Witty, original, well-written spy thriller. Fassbender plays cold calculating spy very well. Great supporting cast. Lots of laughs.
A little too much here’s 25 things we didn’t tell you at the end with no hints along the way, but a fun ride at a very tight 90 minutes. More films like this!

Let’s start with the positives: Extremely well cast, the cinematography and direction was very well done.
The rest was a mess. No real story or character development. Maybe the worst sound design in a film in ages, almost inaudible at many points due to the sound mixing.
Slow cinema should have you reflecting during and after and not just “what did I just spend two hours watching?”
