I was a bit cynical going into this, thinking it would be 2 and half hours of slow burn misery porn following a single family’s journey. If someone could show me a more 2000s sci fi movie I would be surprised. This thing is sooo goofy and also not very good. Can’t really seem to decide if it wants to be something silly and quippy or a serious drama sci-fi mystery thing. Either way it would fail at both.
However if you want an incredibly stupid movie that’s a time capsule of the stereotypes of its era than I would recommend.
