It is an absolute joy to be back in Tim Burton’s fantastical, wacky, hilarious world again. The practical effects and style make the movie so comforting and genuine, bringing Burton back to the trademarks and approach that defined his early career and many of his best movies. It looks like it was shot on an iPod shuffle but is the best Cinderella nonetheless ❤️

Hocus Pocus is a big part of my personality so I had pretty high expectations. I thought the sisters and the three main girls were great, but it primarily felt spread too thin. Plenty of great callbacks to the original movie, but a few moments that make very little sense. Definitely feels like a Disney+ sequel, but I wish they would’ve let it do all the weird shit Disney could do in the 90s

edit: Billy Butcherson is still a good zombie!!! ❤️
