The Dead Thing 2024
This scrappy indie ghost story punches way beyond its weight. Where some films would be content with a timely premise and some spooky kills, this movie plumbs the depths of sex in the digital age. The performances by the two leads were phenomenal, especially Blu whose face is on screen probably 90 of its 93 minute run time.
Very sexy, intimate, dark and spooky. I want to see more from Elric Kane. It's clear that he has much more genius waiting to emerge.
