This movie fucking rocks 🪨
That’s a bit of a funny joke, cus you see, the main antagonist of this movie is a rock man. Hahaha! There’s something a bit unsettling about the combination of a newly darkened tone/color pallet and the notably younger Dorothy Gale (she is a child) that makes the stakes feel strangely high throughout the movie. The practical FX and the sets that they used to make this are pretty sick; it’s so beautifully 80s.
