SUPER funny, just got lost in its own plot a bit but it was self aware enough that it didn’t really matter. This really is a love letter to the early 2000s marvel and to the character of Wolverine.

Dune 2021
This movie begs to be seen in theaters. It’s one of the most beautifully shot films I’ve seen, and the experience reminds me why movie theaters are important. The world building is fantastically shown, but I wouldn’t mind some more exposition for people who aren’t familiar with Dune lore. This is also technically half a movie, so it doesn’t feel completely fulfilling, but it definitely makes me excited for a part 2. It’s not perfect, but it makes me happy that movies are back.

Very cool. As someone who is currently a photojournalist, I found some of this pretty relatable, although of course I haven’t covered anything like war lol. This truly is a dive into journalism rather than an American war, and I appreciated that. A lot of layers and subtleties here that I think I missed the first time around and I might pick up the second time. I think the title is misleading and should’ve been called something else tho.
