    I feel like everything I hear about this movie in public spaces is negativity, but this was actually an awesome ride. Interesting lighting and the camera actually movement is actually fun as hell.

    Some missed steps here and there - biggest of which for me is the name Gabriel just doesn’t quite fit, even if you can tell they’re going for an angel/Devil thing - but this made enough right choices to keep my attention.

    Avoided this for years bc it was perpetually overhyped, but it was pretty good! I feel like most of its strength comes from concept alone, but the filmmaking is solid, and Carrey is incredible. Wasn’t expecting it to get into anti-authoritarianism, and love the positivity in the face of the absurd.
