  I think this is just as good as the first one, and just as entertaining, sometimes I think even more so. Most battle scenes are incredibly well-made. Acting is very good in most parts. The editing is still a bit of an issue for me like in the first film, and Connie Nielsen has no chemistry with Paul Mescal and Connie seems to be really underacting here or something, I just couldn't feel her character.   The performances are heartfelt and moving and I love how this theater group humanizes the characters. Whole cast is amazing and I like the docu-kinda style and also love the fact that the actors are also formerly incarcerated in the real Sing Sing. Clarence Maclin did great and I'm happy he got those BAFTA and Critics Choice Awards noms. Should've gotten an Oscar nom too imo. Colman Domingo did a perfect job too.

  Also those end credits are the most touching credits I've ever seen in any movie.

  This film absolutely made me laugh a lot, and the directing and filming techniques are impeccable. Truly amazing and rewatchable too. Although I was rooting Demi Moore, Mikey Madison did deserve that Oscar win.
