Toni Erdmann 2016
I really felt this movie hitting on so many levels, wished to be more like Toni after watching this. The scenes, the tension on the bullshit world, the way a whole country (and the main character) can be sucked in by those lifeless money making, it all hit together in a very funny and surprising way. So many moments, and quotidian, but eternal moments that one may miss while going to reach out for that camera. Loved the era they portrait, can’t believe iPhones now can look like it’s from the past.
