  The Good Dinosaur 2015

  This movie caught a lot of flak back in the day, which led to me having no great drive to watch it. But I finally decided, “What the hell, I’ve seen almost every other Pixar movie, why not knock this one off the list.” And I’m honestly glad I did. It’s a sweet western-lite story about a kid and his dog braving the elements and overcoming fears. 

  Also that one shot in the fermented fruit sequence gave me a decent chuckle.

  Salem's Lot 2024

  I fell asleep pretty hard the first time I tried to watch this. Now that I’ve actually watched it, I think I get why. It’s fine, and there are some performances and specific shots I really liked, but at the end of the day it’s pretty bland.

  I would say this film 100% qualifies as a prime Halloween film.
