    Rewatching this movie after several years has really shifted my thoughts about the characters, who I am less sympathetic to than I was on first viewing, but the film remains a very compelling look at memory, love, our idea of the people that we are with, and the patterns that we find ourselves in when we are in relationships.

    Brief review: some interesting ideas and decent performances, but also a bit overly broad in the delivery and not enough nuance to really skewer the media or the way we idolize people for individual acts we learn about without knowing who they really are. Ended on a schmaltzier note than expected, but could have been a much better movie with a more nuanced script and slightly more acerbic sense of humor.
