Heart Eyes 2025
Heart Eyes does a good job of threading the weird needle between romcom and legitimate slasher. I think it's a little stronger as a romcom with some great banter and a pair of winning leads with terrific chemistry. There are a few clinkers and invoking His Girl Friday multiple times only underscores those minor deficiencies but overall that side of the film is really solid.
