  I guess I just prefer the fun, mysterious soap opera parts of Twin Peaks more than a retelling of the sad, gritty parts.

  Back in high school, my friend and I wanted to write a song. Now, we didn’t have many instruments handy besides maybe a cruddy little Casio keyboard, but we wanted this song to rock so that wasn’t much good.

  My Sucky Teen Romance 2011

  When real (i.e. non-sparkly) vampires attack a sci-fi convention, a group of teens must figure out how to save one of their own.

  May not be the most original story, but the film has plenty of charm, which ushers it through its relatively short run time. My favorite little touch was the way the undead kid's speech became impeded by their new fangs. A subtle move akin to wearing retainers, which works for the age bracket involved.
