PS, cinema etiquette nowadays is fucked. We managed to tick it all off tonight - loud teens, glaring screens, noisy eaters and over-laughers.

Spider-Man: No Way Home 2021
NO SPOILERS - my god this was so much fun. The two and a half hours absolutely whizzed by. A film of opposites. Was very big and grand, but then personal and reflective. I was almost out of my seat on many occasions, almost crying on many occasions, sometimes within minutes of each other. Just a hugely satisfying film from beginning to end, and I haven’t said that about a Marvel movie in quite some time.

Ok, random thoughts.
Pattinson is my favourite Batman, and this representation of Batman is my favourite, too. Tremendous performance across the board, a fantastic score and some sporadic bouts of decent action. There’s an awful lot to like about this movie.
However, that running time, man. I’d put it at least 40 minutes too long, about half of which could be trimmed from the final act, especially a couple of cringy or pointless scenes as the film succumbs to Return…Translated from by
