Here we see Burr being perceptively honest with himself as he shares with us his gold nuggets of inspiration and introspection.

It’s so hard to pull off: bravely expressing yourself honestly with your art and your life. May we all have such courageous integrity.

Fuck me was this movie boring. Started and stopped like 4x over 3 days. Refused to give up and kept waiting for the film to redeem itself but it never did.

Also, what an annoying prick the kid Tommy is. I totally understood, and almost cheered, the little shit’s spanking.

“Boy. You really need someone to talk to, don’t ya?”

The special effects place the film firmly in the 80’s and in all the best ways.

Remember: beware the toxic ex that suddenly turns back up in your life.

What are the themes of this film you ask? Let me tell you: at its heart this is a film about death and love; about the pain and fear of death, and about the power of love to both endure and overcome. A worthy thesis to spend a couple of hours contemplating as Bong Joon-ho crafts for us an engrossing narrative and intriguing world within which his questions and answers emerge.

And like all great science fiction, this movie, ostensibly…
