Is this a good film? No. Is it a great way to spend New Years Day with your Sonic loving 6 year old while also experiencing 4DX? Yes. Yes it is.
It’s probably too long, it’s incredibly predictable and a waste of many people’s talents but it’s enjoyable enough…
Far better than it has any right to be. Some risqué jokes that fall perfectly for the adults and just a great time.
Arguably the strongest of the three. Would recommend if you need something to watch with littles.
I have finally watched this film. It’s taken a long time but it’s finally checked off my list.
Is it great? No. Is it deservedly revered regardless? Yes.
I’m so glad it’s an 80s film. It paces through the narrative quickly with little to no unnecessary exposition. Some peculiar sequences which it turns out are there to be deliberately disorienting but they work.
I’ll be honest, I found it didn’t hold my attention as well as hoped but the finale…
It was fun. I enjoyed it a lot. I look forward to the next instalment.
Not much more to say than that but Daniel Craig should forever more reprise the role of Benoit Blanc and nothing else.
