Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore 1974
Nearly perfect movie. Scorsese is officially in my book the best director of all time. Everyone can relate and laugh to this movie. Ellen kills it as Alice and the kids is fantastic too. Script is fantastic, and it had me laughing my ass off. Would recommend this movie to legit anyone. Scorsese is the king of cinema. Vera was a scene stealer and so good in the restaurant scenes. Same with Foster, damn this movie was good.

Aguirre, the Wrath of God 1972
Medieval Apocalypse now without a climax. First half dragged a wee bit. Second was just the crew chilling on the raft but I enjoyed it. Great cinematography and impressive rafts lol. Main guy could have had more lines but his stare sound a thousand words alone. Haycock agreed 3/5 would recommend.

What a loser! This is quite the epic of a man who always finds away to fail. I love Kubrick slow zoom out shots that are some prominent in this movie. One of his best stories, and great pacing considering it’s 3 hours long. Would recommend to people who like movies. Also killer performances all around. Kubrick does an amazing job of show don’t tell. And I can’t believe how well paced the back act of the movie is. Not a dull moment.
