  It is amazing what this movie can do with a simple story line and an hour and a half. Gael Garcia Bernal´s second directorial credit certainly shows the keen eye he has for depicting contemporary mexican life and I´m excited to see what he has to offer us next. It has its obvious flaws but what I liked the most was the authenticity of the actors, the setting the story that sadly show life in many of Mexico´s town. Perhaps…

  Guillermo del Toro´s best movie to the day. It was a beautiful amalgam of everything the makes del Toro unique. The story was one of a kind evoking deep rooting emotions. The imagery was fantastic and provoking. The script coupled with the phenomenal acting led to powerful and emotionaly effective scenes. Withouth spoiling the movie I can just say it was quite a unique emotional experience , deffinitely shows why del Toro is where he is.
