The story is really interesting, acting is amazing except for Selena Gomez. Sorry but from a first gen Mexican American please take Spanish lessons. Que verguenza.
It’s just puzzling that a true story set in Mexico was told from a French perspective but not much Mexican input as a story like this deserves.
Seriously, what is with the singing?!
I could not get into Twin Peaks but a friend recommended I start with this instead.
That said this is Lynch at its finest.
Weird. Camp. Macabre. And with heart. The score captures every mood.
This man was definitely in his own category. Laura Palmer had a harrowing story that played more explicit than I anticipated.
And it leaves me wanting to know more.

Emma Stone really embodies the character and makes the villain come out.
And the Fashion! Beautifully done. Could have been a bit shorter but it was definitely a good time at the theater.
This is one of those movies I wholly regret not seeing in theaters. So much fun!
The action, story, soundtrack is perfection. Characters are relatable and have heart and non stop adventure. The Vietnam era was perfect for this.
Opens up the universe and got me hella hyped for Godzilla VS Kong.
