  i don't know how i feel about this movie.

  when i walked out of the theater i was kinda just bewildered. the ending is so jarring that i spent the entire walk home trying to figure out just wtf it made me feel and 15 mins later was still at a loss. Just to try and find anything i could attach my emotions to, i looked up the production designer's (Judy Becker) recent interviews because wow it is so hard…

  I think the first time I saw this I was 17 and watched it on my laptop at 1am instead of prepping for a debate tournament and then for the rest of my senior year I'd listen to Cornfield Chase before almost every round so yeah I've got some emotional attachments here. Rewatching it for the first time now as mostly an adult and despite the big screen I'm far more amazed by the heart than all the spectacle. Also was constantly thinking about Timmy's scenes getting cut LMFAO.
