I've just wasted a couple of hours of my life. Although the acting was excellent, the narrative is so confusing, pretentious and I'm afraid to say - boring. We didn't even finish it.

Nomadland 2020
Beautiful film. Raw, honest and mesmerising. I felt completely captivated by Frances McDormand's portrayal of Fern and her moving journey as a nomad in search of work and friendship. The characters she meets along the way are genuine testaments for what it means to be human, not only dependent upon the kindness of others but also selflessly offering kindness and companionship. The music, cinematography and creative editing are utterly enchanting - I loved this film.

Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood 2019
An interesting pastiche and homage to Hollywood past and an effectively executed 'what if' plot. As expected from a Tarantino offering, the film is slick, darkly amusing, stylish and well acted - definitely worth a watch.
