Don't expect too much and this movie is a hell of a good time. It's the best type of campy B-movie creature feature you're gonna get: great setpieces, fine character actors and a script that doesn't take it self too seriously with some great lines. You know you're gonna have a good time when you recognize the actors in these movies.

Black Bag 2025
As slick and stylish as Soderbergh's best. Smart writing, and not a minute waisted in this twisty and cool spy drama. While there is some thrilling spycraft present, the real treat lies in the character dynamics at the various dinner tables. Good old fashioned people-talking-in-rooms done to near perfection with an impeccable cast where everyone fits his or her character like a glove. The cherry on top here is the production quality; beautiful sets, impressive camerawork and an amazing score from David Holmes, which at times makes you expect the Night Fox to come prancing into the room.

How far can you lose yourself in depravity through obsessions? This film is a harrowing addition to this canon in which Fincher often excels. Gariépy's lead performance is breathtaking at times, perfectly encapsulating the obsession that can be felt this day through digital means that weren't possible 30 years ago. It's all in the filmmaking, the shots, and the performances because there is hardly anything that is actually visually disturbing.
