  Sublime.  I love this movie so much.  The music, the cinematography, Harrison Ford!  Steven Spielberg, I lift my Indiana Jones hat to you.

  Solid.  Great performances by the cast all around, but didn’t blow me away.  The trailer made it seem like more of a thriller and less of what it actually is—a fairly compelling interpersonal mystery—which definitely affected my expectations.  Well shot and edited, but was not any more than the sum of its parts.

  Keely said, “Hey, we should watch a fun, silly movie… like Shrek 2.”  And I said with narrowed eyes, “That’s not a silly movie—that’s cinema.” And she explained she was trying to be causal.  Upon rewatch, indeed, it’s cinema.  It holds up so well!

  It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown 1966

  I love this movie so much.  The Snoopy sequences in France are my favorite—the atmosphere, the colors, the sound of shelling in the distance.  Those scenes made me nervous when I was little because I was worried about Snoopy, but even then I never looked away because they’re so immersive and captivating.  And of course, I always get choked up when Lucy takes Linus home after he stayed all night at the pumpkin patch.  Targeted at me as older-sister-to-younger-brother.
