  Fantastic flick this one! I really enjoyed the characters of the priest and the love interest who inspire Brando's character to take the difficult path.

  In terms of the themes I liked the idea that courage and sacrifice beget more of the same and the portrayal of how obstinate and suffocating micro-cultures can be.

  Lastly, the final act is a brilliant demonstration of suspenseful writing. I hereby call on all my followers to check this one out!
