This was just disturbing. I don’t know what the fascination is with portraying self hating black people that Hollywood has but problematic ain’t even the word anymore.
Also the film was the equivalent of NyQuil. Absolute borefest.
If this is such an interesting topic for non black people to “explore” then why not just go all in instead of dipping the toe into the pool? Don’t half ass the racism, step in and dig deep and you might have something more profound to say. Christ almighty.
