Whelp…..at least it’s better than the Sandy Cheeks movie.
There is some stuff that’s somewhat good here as a SpongeBob fan. Plankton’s wife Karen finally gets the spotlight, and Jill Talley finally gets her opportunity to shine as a voice actress. Capturing all of Karen’s fractured personalities pretty well. I did actually find the romance between Plankton and Karen kinda cute, in a surface level kind of way. And I think the finale was somewhat endearing.

What can I say about this film that hasn’t already been said before? I mean, this film is the definition of “classic.” It pioneered and changed the entire film industry and it’s honestly shocking how much the special effects still hold up several decades later.
