Black Bag 2025
The way Michael Fassbender, coupled with the script is able to control a scene just by asking the right questions and let other people’s responses unravel façades is absolutely fantastic. This movie is really interesting, tense and, comparatively to most spy thrillers, very low-key but it absolutely utilises every conversational scene to its advantage.
Great performances from the entire cast and a really well thought through mystery. The script is impressively tight with a running time coming in at 95 minutes, there’s not an ounce of fat left to be trimmed.

Despite somehow going over a decade never having seen this movie, I’m so glad my first time was in the cinema.
Matthew McConaughey is incredible, I felt everything he did right with him. That score from Hans Zimmer is insane. Nolan has the sauce.
