Mississippi Burning 1988
I miss films like this. Engaging stories, well acted. I swear period pieces used to feel more authentic like this one. These days somehow they don’t ring true.
This film doesn’t hold back though, and I chose to skip some of the tough spots.
Ultimately not a super satisfying ending, but a very engaging film.
4 stars.
P.S. Why was the sound recording of shoes, doors and little noises so enjoyable back then?
