One of Them Days 2025
I had a really good time watching this. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel or anything. It’s a solid buddy comedy with Keke Palmer and SZA having good chemistry together. This helped a lot because, while all the jokes don’t necessarily land for me, the two on screen together is just a fun time. I did like seeing comedians I like such as Katt Williams, Tony Baker and Janelle James in small roles. The scene with Keke, SZA and Keyla Monterroso Mejia had me chuckling a lot!

Last Breath 2025
I didn’t know this was based on a true story going into it and, honestly, this was a pretty solid film. Really good acting (especially Woody Harrelson and Mark Bonnar), nice filmmaking and coming in at around 90 minutes. It’s all straightforward and I don’t think you’d regret it if you just felt like watching a new film at the cinema like I did.
