    Don't Move

Yeah, nah don't. Edgar Wright's DON'T has more chills and thrills in its 2 minute run time.

It's like a Hallmark movie drunkenly pashed a thriller then decided to give two recent film school grads enough money to make their AHS homage into a feature. Trust me on this, I went to film school...

  • The Whale

    The Whale

An outstanding ensemble performance masks a cliché, unsympathetic, and unkind screenplay.

Do I recommend watching? Absolutely. 💯 Team Brendan Fraser.
Do I recommend dwelling on what the film has to say as a person whose body has been commented on/has struggled with disordered eating? Hard no.

A bold new voice in documentary (if you haven't done so yet, do seek out her other films), Kitty Green's Casting JonBenet delves into the mystery and myth of the famous murder case through interviews with actors and non-actors vying for a role in her film.
A much stronger documentary than Kate Plays Christine, which explored a similar method of storytelling through actor prep, Green's eye for composition and performance, paired with rich subject matter makes for a moving and affecting piece of cinema.

It's a shame I didn't get to see this on the big screen.

My girlfriends have great taste in 80's flicks, and Mystic Pizza is no exception.

A great, feel good rom-com perfectly paired with gin and tonics on a Saturday night. Don't forget the pizza, you'll be craving it. Plus, keep your eyes peeled for mini Matt Damon.
