Didn’t quite like it as much as I liked the premise. Shocking how much this is about the same thing that Hit Man is, just, opposite.
There’s a bit early on where an ice cream truck is trying to drive past an ambulance and it plays the exact bizarre song (punctuated by “Hello”) that the ice cream truck that drives around my neighborhood at 8pm every night does.
The story of a slave owner that discovers there’s evil in the world.
A little overstuffed and overlong to make it into my instant classics - I must admit I never like a zombie campaign. But it’s inventive and fun and (mostly) looks great. If nothing else, four stars for not having a magic battle that’s just different color lightning blasting at each other. Real magic! Magic doing things! Magic is fun.
Also just full on bully for Rege-Jean Page for finally becoming the movie star we were promised, and in a role where his entire bit was already done perfectly a decade ago by Drax. Outstanding work.
Fat dragon good. But I’m greedy and wanted more Underdark creatures.
