Being my second time watching this, I was able to understand the deeper meaning of the film better. This film displays social class in such an interesting way. While watching the film, it made me think about the sacrifices that we make for a “better” life but also how we may take things for granted when we are driven by wealth.

Dead Man 1995
I don't know if I liked this film. I think that it is an interesting take on a western film as it doesn't fully resemble what is stereotypical of this genre. However, there are definitely similarities to the typical western through the mise en scene and music. I enjoyed the depth of the story, but I found each scene to be extremely long and drawn out where I found myself becoming uninterested.

I will say that I am a bit confused after watching this film, but I still enjoyed it. It very much felt like a movie within a movie at some points and that they are living in a simulation controlled by one higher authority figure. It gave me Big Brother is watching you vibes. I really liked the creativity of this film and this new take on cinema.
