  This movie was fine. The story is very muddy but I will say, while not all the characters have good chemistry with each other, Ryan Reynolds (who I normally can only stand so much of) has great chemistry with pretty much everyone.   Man, I have to say, I’m surprised this movie is getting absolutely trashed. My guess is it has to do with the overall budget vs the end product but the end product isn’t THAT bad. I mean Millie Bobby Brown is not very good and Chris Pratt is Chris Pratt. He’s the same in every movie so you kinda know what you’re getting. I like him but I know a lot don’t.   Pretty sad how far the Marvel franchise has fallen. I didn’t go in with very high expectations and nothing was done to raise that. Very run of the mill superhero film that has some ok action, not a great story, some rough CGI for a Marvel movie, and a confusing choice to make it a sequel to one of the very early Marvel movies. I’m glad the runtime was less than two hours for a late showing but I could have shaved another 15-20 and would have been fine.
