  Okay this story could have hit so much harder if it wasn’t about a gay woman falling for a straight man !! Whatever nuance, confusion, or emotion it was trying to portray was lost in the reality that men are gonna watch this and be emboldened to continue hitting on gay women at the bar saying they can change her or that he’s the exception etc etc etc 

  Still cried tho

  incredible movie. a great take on the state of our government and country, and the selfishness and apathy that lives in it. a scary reminder of the last administration and how anti-science they were and made so many people. 

  favorite quote of the movie was when ariana grande sang:

  “get your head out your ass. listen to the goddamn qualified scientist”
