An interesting take on the espionage genre, where there is very little action and very dialogue driven. It's interesting to watch a spy film where it's not one versus the world, or some superhuman super spy. I'm assuming it's about MI6 and its employees, who are all very flawed humans.

Everyone puts on a great performance and it revolves a lot around relationships, instead of things blowing up. Steven Soderbergh does not treat you like an idiot here.

While not a perfect movie, it is very refreshing to see a short (94 minutes!) and tight movie that made me wish it was longer.

Very undercooked movie with some great acting by the main cast.

The movie has A LOT of different plot points that it touches upon, but fails to flesh any of it out. I never read the book and I heard the book fleshed everything out. Not sure why so many great ideas were introduced without following through any of them. There are multiple characters that seem to be alluded to be very important, only to just periodically show up here…

Furiosa does something many franchises fail to do, make a good prequel! I find most prequel movies ends up being a hodge-podge of young, immature versions of established characters, fanservice, or making a stupid explanation for something that's best left unknown. Yes, I'm talking about Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Here, a majority of the cast are unique and any reoccurring characters are played like they did in Fury Road. Being a prequel, the world isn't in complete shambles like…

This movie made me feel like a kid again.

A sequel to The Wrong Trousers, it quickly recaps what you need to know from it and is pretty standalone otherwise. It doesn't reinvent the wheel, and the new character Norbot, does get annoying (intentionally) at times. But this is all wholesome fun, and had me grinning like a youth catching this on the TV.

I'm lucky to catch this in theatres, as it's a Netflix movie, but it's a must watch anywhere. I want to rewatch everything from before again!
