  lots to say here — but I really especially enjoyed the growing diversity of the jury as the viewer comes to know the men. when one juror would say something assuming all the other jurors had the same experience and opinions just for someone to get, well, angry about it.

  as the piece becomes more claustrophobic, you can almost feel the sticky heat through screen

  still, i found juror #3’s breakdown at the end to be a melodramatic crude ending to a smart film.

  been chewing on it for a while —- perhaps martin’s most meticulously planned film? amazing performance pulled out of Leo. character actors really set the scene. keep thinking about the roles of the aunt and cousin and their actions throughout all of this
