the writing stuck out to me although i was first drawn to this film for its visuals. Michel Gondry uses surrealistic circumstances to actualize separation. He uses side characters as comedic relief and before we know it they become the most pivotal - characters in the film. The film is digestible and a perfect movie goodness gracious
