Edge of Tomorrow 2014

I do not consider myself a sadistic man but seeing Tom Cruise, a man whose characters tend to more that thrive under intense amounts of pressure and chaos, just fall into the dirt.
Live Die Repeat functions more than well as a response to Ethan Hunt. Hunt may get bruised, he may lose a fight here or there, but is never beaten. William Cage is a reminder of Cruise's humanity, something we rarely see anymore.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga 2024

Sadly not on the same level as Fury Road, but that's a tough goal to fulfil. Hemsworth and Taylor-Joy deliver on their roles but I would have loved to see some of the over the top performances that take this franchise to the next level. The action is clear and exciting, and Taylor-Joy feels in control in every scene.
