Required viewing. When reading about Palestine, it’s so horrific that it can be almost challenging to wrap your head around the atrocities that have been happening there for decades. But seeing it from this single, firsthand source is absolutely devastating and adds context to every person’s story there.

This is, of course, a gut-wrenching watch. But you should be gut-wrenched about what has been and continues to be done to the people of Palestine by their oppressor Israel. And from…

Breathtaking. It’s epic in its visual scale and themes, yet manages to tell such a deeply human story within it all. The film perfectly encapsulates how artists are bent over backwards by capitalism, so much to the point that they feel their struggles of expressing themselves may not even be worth it in the end.

Fun ass movie. The action rules and the performances and direction have that sweet 90s camp to it. Makes me want to surf and reaffirms that I never want to skydive!

Amazing script that kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning. So many twists and turns, and the short run time makes you keep your focus for every scene. Some really tense moments that are simple as hell to make—the performances, directing, and screenplay make it shine. Go check this out.

This movie has been on my radar for months and was probably my most anticipated of the year. I’m a big fan of Brendan Fraser and I was very excited to hear that he has a comeback performance in this. I’m happy to report that he is excellent in this. The rest of the movie however, is not. At all.

I genuinely found this script and direction to be repulsive. As someone who struggles with body image a lot, I…

One of the most fun times I’ve had at the movies in a bit. M. Night directs this so incredibly well, building tension so effortlessly with his purposeful camera moves, sharp editing, and beautiful cinematography. This is probably one of the best looking movies this year. Josh Hartnett is incredible, weaving between his two lives within the same shot so effortlessly. The third act pits two characters against each other and it’s a blast to watch. One of my new favorite Shyamalan films.
