  Could not get over how tonally erratic this was. There were two good movies here - one that took this heartbreaking story seriously and one that was as silly as the cat paintings. Smashing them together just didn’t do it for me.

  Three stars for the movie. An extra one just for 17 & 18 to go halfsies on because Robert Pattinson is just incredible. If I watch this again it’ll be to reexperience the way 17 & 18 interact with each other and how they descend stairs.

  “There is so much pain. And I don't know how to not notice it.” - Charlie

  Been putting this one off for a long time. Geez, it wrecked me. At first Charlie captured me because I remember what it was like to desperately want to belong. By the end, this character in a movie articulated one of the most relatable sentiments I’ve ever heard: “There is so much pain. And I don’t know how to not notice it.” Some of us are broken in ways that make us whole - we just have to figure out what the hell that means.

  Loved everything about DÌDI! Took me right back to 2008 without ever being gimmicky. Hilarious when it needed to be. Cringe when it needed to be. Those final moments, tho. 😙🤌
