  The power dynamic is way more balanced than media made it out to be. I liked that Samuel was actually a lot more shy than I had anticipated. His boyish nature, and her imposed maturity, which we also see at different times in the movie, is what makes it believable. The way the movie depicts a certain path of discovery for both is more enjoyable than a 50 Shades type of omniscient behavior for the dominant character.

  Lesley Ann Warren was the eyecatcher. Wonderfully camp. They don't do comedy like this anymore and that's a shame. It's considered cheap laughs by many, but I will never not laugh with what Flemish people call 'a doors comedy'.

  Watched it after a long week at work, and after watching an other movie first. So okay, I was tired. But this felt like a very looong ride nonetheless. It's a common thing with these film festival circuit type of movies. And then Harris' name popped up on screen and I hadn't realised it was him. Really need to see Babygirl stat!
