It's like a Disney family movie about WW2 full of clichés, way too long and with no story whatsoever. What does this film want to talk about? The evacuation of children during the war? Racism? High and low society?
It doesn't help that George, the lost kid, meets so many characters in his journey back home. All quirky and weird. And all of them have a full 5 minutes of screen time. Not to forget his mother who's only there to sing and whine.
