I mean I don’t see a lot of musicals, I do wish I saw this in theaters, it was really well done. I knew nothing going in. I will be seeing the sequel in theaters when it comes out! Needs to be seen on a big screen. Set designs and costumes were really well done. Acting was very good all around. Will probably have Defying Gravity stuck in my head for the foreseeable future. They found a way to make the wicked witch sympathetic, so good job.

Paddington in Peru 2024
If this was as good as the first two, this would probably be in my greatest trilogies list. It’s not as good as the first two, but is better than I thought it’d be, and is still a nice charming movie. There’s some logic story points that don’t make sense, some of it you can sweep aside because it’s a Paddington movie, but there’s a couple that made me go: ??? I do wish Sally Hawkins returned and probably the original director.

The entire runtime kept me close to the edge of my seat. My watch gave me a high heart rate warning. Pacing was maybe a tad slow for my liking.
Wasn’t the funniest thing I’ve ever seen but it still definitely had its moments spread throughout the film.

It’s been so long since I’ve seen the first and barely remember any of it, so was a little unsure going into this one. I liked it. As a comedy I think it did pretty well keeping the laughs going.
